Cooking Club

Calling for young chefs!!!! Discover new science, math, reading, health and social skills through hands on cooking experiences! While learning food preparation skills, kitchen safety, etiquette, table setting, and healthy menu planning they’ll be having fun!!! Oh, and of course eating! Mrs. Martin and Mrs. Spoonhunter will be your culinary experts!

Grades K-5th. Thursdays from 3:45-4:30

Love to sing?? Join our quality music instruction program with artistic excellence in choral performance. Mr. Cruz shares his passion for singing with his students as they prepare for multiple performances throughout the year!!
Grades 1-3, Wednesdays 1:00-1:30
Grades 4-8, Mondays 3:30-4:30 & Wednesdays 1:30-3:00

Pom N’ Cheer Spirit Squad

GO Eagles! Want to cheer for CEE at Town Meetings and other special school events?? Then let’s go!!! Gather your spirit and energy! Ms. Voecks, one of our Kindergarten teachers, will lead our spirit squad with assistance from Mrs. Jacobs (Kindergarten teacher) and Mrs. Kinneman(Kindergarten teacher).  Coach Voecks has an impressive history of cheerleading and gymnastics that began when she was just 9 years old. She spent 4 years on varsity cheer as well as being on an all-star cheer team. She is very excited to be working with the Cheer Squads to teach students dance, tumbling, and stunting skills as well as team building and self confidence!
K-8 Mondays 3:45-5:00

Drama Club

Drama is back for another exciting year with our experienced teachers, Mrs. Youkers, Mrs. Brungard and Mrs. O’Hanlon. Drama students gain valuable knowledge of acting and theater. Students will audition in October and begin to rehearse for our production in March. Tuesdays & Thursday from 3:45-5:30

Yoga Club

The heart of any yoga practice is the performance of yoga positions (called asanas), each of which has specific physical and mental benefits. Mrs. Nelson will introduce students to basic poses and balances in this class for K-8th grades. Tuesday 3:45-4:30

Story Book Art Club

In story art we will be reading a collection of exciting stories and bringing them to life through a variety of art and craft projects. Each week participants will read a picture book and then create an art project taking elements, ideas and inspiration from the book. This club will be led by Mrs. Fuhst and Mrs. Kelly. Grades 1-5. Tuesday 3:45-4:30

Basketball Intramural Team

We are very excited to announce that Coach Kelton will be coaching Basketball at CEE!!  Students will learn proper basketball fundamentals all the while expanding their skills to emerge as a player reaching their fullest potential. Ultimately, the goal is to ensure that each athlete develops their basketball skills in an environment that is: Stable, Consistent, Intense, Dynamic, Enthusiastic, and fun!  Coach Kelton will also hold inner squad games at CEE! Grades 5-8. Tuesdays 3:30-4:30

Sports Skills Club

Junior sports enthusiasts – – Pick your sport!!! Coach Kelton will be offering his expertise in teaching the fundamental skills in soccer, basketball, baseball, tennis, and volleyball!!! Come PLAY while gaining strength, agility, flexibility, eye-hand coordination and confidence!! CEE’S gym will transform into a sports Mecca! Grades K-3. Friday 3:45-4:30

Golf Academy Club

Gary Wolf is sharing his valuable knowledge as a pro golfer and instructor in the valley for over 10 years. Gary’s philosophy of keeping things simple, teaching great fundamentals and having fun has produced over 100 wins for his junior golfers. His students have received scholarships to Colorado State, New Mexico State and Air Force Academy, as well as the local community colleges. Gary’s junior golfers have combined for over 100 Wins in the last 10 years. The classes will consist of: Full Swing Instruction with Video, Pitching, Chipping, and Putting, where the instruction is fit for each student’s individual level. And of course, do not forget the FUN!!!! When all the classes are complete, the parents will receive a video of their child’s first and last full swing video lesson. Golfers may bring their own clubs or they will be provided. $180.00 for 15 sessions. Starting September 9 – December 16 Maximum number of students is 18.
*Classes are held at Dobson Ranch Golf Course – 2155 S Dobson Rd, Mesa, AZ 85202. The CEE school bus will be providing transportation to and from the golf course. Wednesdays from 2:00 – 3:30.
